Hey All!

I want to tell you about two events right around the corner!

First, this SUNDAY, our first Group Connection Event. This will be held after services from about 12:15 – 1:15p in Room 4. We’ll connecting people to their first group! What an amazing thing! If you are already in a group, then tell those around you that aren’t connected yet to check it out! Childcare will be provided, but sorry, no lunch.

We’ll be forming all types of groups: men’s, women’s, couples, etc.

Secondly, OCTOBER 2nd, New Leaders Training. If you are a new leader or would like to know about leading a group, this is for you. We’ll be going over some “How-to’s” of group leadership, scriptural basis of group leadership, and choosing curriculum for your group.

I look forward to maybe seeing some of you at one of these events and am really excited to get you and many other plugged into LIFE Groups!

If you have questions or would like to attend one of these events, please contact me at or you can call 384-5038.

Plan ahead or Fall behind

It’s that time of year when summer is winding down very quickly. I’ve always found that if I am not planning ahead over the next couple of months, the Fall months will quickly slip by and I won’t have accomplished anything I wanted or needed. If you’re like me, consider this post as a reminder of what’s ahead!

I do want to pause for a moment from talking about LIFE Groups to talking about other areas of the church. There is a lot happening this fall and we want you to be involved! Here is a list of what’s happening:

If your child attends one of these schools we pick them up 5 days a week and provide snacks, activities, and Bible lessons through out the school year. Connect After School Begins August 18th from 3:00p – 6:00p.

Student Ministries:

Element provides relevant teaching to your student as well as worship provided by its own band. Element “Rush Week” Begins August 16th-August 20th. Afterward it meets every Wednesday night.

Adult Ministries:

Fall 2011 Goal:::UPDATE

For those of you who were present at our soft launch of the TCCC LIFE Groups you’ll remember that I set a goal to get 100 new people involved in LIFE group by Fall 2011. I have great news so far!! By the time we start this fall, we’ll already be 1/5 of the way to our goal. We have nearly 20 new people involved already!

Remember our big launch will September 12th followed by our first Group Connection Event on Sunday, September 26th. If you have friends or family that aren’t plugged in yet, tell them about this!

I am really excited to see God moving through all of this and I can’t wait to see what will happen once fall gets here!

Have a great week and God Bless!
